Tasked with providing parts to the service department.
This will be a parts associate role with a specific focus on internal service parts responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities Support service and warranty functions by ordering and/or sourcing parts, services and supplies Pull/record parts from inventory as needed for Service and Repair work Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Participate in weekly team meetings.
Stay current on products and product knowledge.
Promptly process returns.
Monitor backordered part orders.
Planning, organizing, administering, directing and controlling parts distribution operations in order to assure efficient and profitable utilization of manpower, facilities, equipment and funds Assist warehouse operations, including receiving, stock keeping, physical inventories & cycle counts and shipping when required Support service and warranty functions by ordering and/or sourcing parts, services, and supplies Assist in identifying and selling obsolete/overstock inventory May be assigned to cleaning and sweeping duties in the parts and shop areas Warehouse operations, including receiving, stock keeping, physical inventories & cycle counts, and shipping as required Reviews with Service all Work Orders prior to closing to ensure parts are accurate Review all daily invoice reports (parts) and report any discrepancy Develop a database of technical knowhow to support JDC efforts in the aerial and other markets.
Work directly with the corporate parts team making recommendations to improve sales and inventory.
Forklift experience a plus.

and must be able to operate a forklift The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment The individual in this position will regularly interact with employees and managers in other departments and locations at Jack Doheny Companies.
Receiving and reacting to directions different from your immediate supervisor will be required periodically.
Conversely, there will also be a time when the person in this position must give direction to others.
