Job Responsibility Performs diversified office/clerical duties including, but are not limited to:
Typing various correspondence, reports, and articles.
Taking dictation and minutes.
Transcribing.
Scheduling appointments and meetings.
Maintaining files.
Receptionist duties.
Making, taking, screening and recording messages and telephone calls.
Maintaining records.
Filing patient records, and collecting/processing payments.
Preparing statistical data.
Keeping inventory and ordering supplies.
Performs other non-clinical duties supporting departmental operations and administrative processes, as needed Making travel arrangements.
Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Prior secretarial experience, required.
Working knowledge of medical terminology, required.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications, required.
Ability to take dictation and minutes, and transcribe from tapes and/or Dictaphone, required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
