DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Generate part sales and quotes with companies and individuals through phone, e-mail, and fax.
Stock parts to appropriate locations in the department.
Record keeping of quotes, filing of purchase orders, shipping documents, sales invoices, and inventory reports.
Maintaining positive vendor relations and contacts.
Pickup parts at vendors as requested.
Communicating effectively to build strong, long term, trusting relationships with customers.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of mechanical systems.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Exceptional communication skills, oral and written.
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills; adapts easily to a fast-paced environment.
Personable, friendly demeanor with a solid customer service approach to internal and external customers.
Ability to assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and drawings a plus.
Fluent in Spanish a plus.
Salary based on experience.
